We are MMDC…

Miltown Malbay is a relatively small town in terms of stature but has a huge heart in terms of community involvement. Like many other small towns we have lots of diverse groups, associations and organizations but what sets us apart is that when required, all sectors of the community come together and act as one in the interest of our Town and our Community. An example of this was the coming together and establishment of the Miltown Malbay Development Company (Limited by Guarantee) in 2017 for the purpose of providing and maintaining suitable community facilities for all users to avail of and enjoy. (MMDC) is also a registered Charity. MMDC consists of 5 directors, three of whom are officers and 11 board members. Committee meetings take place on a monthly basis with officers reporting to committee.
